About This

• Two mixed bed resin cartridges for reverse osmosis deionization systems, filled with high grade MBD-30 resin that changes colour gradually as it is depleted. In a clear cartridge you can watch the spent portion work its way down and change it when the colour turns, rather than guessing on a calendar.
• Mixed bed means cation and anion resins blended together in one charge. Between them they remove the dissolved solids the membrane left behind, which is what takes water the last step down to zero TDS. That final stage is the difference between low TDS water and none at all.
• This is the polishing stage after a reverse osmosis membrane, not a substitute for one. DI resin fed with raw tap water exhausts in a fraction of the time, because it is doing work the membrane should have done first. Run it last in the sequence and a charge lasts as it should.
• A 10 inch standard size clear refillable cartridge with a top gasket for a secure fit, and a housing shape that keeps water in contact with the resin rather than running past it. Because it is refillable you can top it up with loose resin later instead of buying a sealed cartridge each time.
• Used for reef and planted aquariums, hydroponics, spot free car rinsing, window cleaning and laboratory supply. How long a charge lasts depends entirely on the dissolved solids in your feed water, which varies enormously between households, and is exactly why colour indicating resin is worth having. CFS is an independent brand, a compatible replacement and not an OEM part.
