About This

• A mixed bed deionisation cartridge for RODI systems, the stage that goes after the reverse osmosis membrane. Cation and anion resins exchange the remaining dissolved solids for hydrogen and hydroxide ions, which combine into water, taking TDS the membrane left behind down toward zero.
• The resin changes colour as it exhausts, which is the useful part. Most filtration gives you no warning at all; this tells you where it is up to before your TDS meter does, so you can order the next one rather than discovering the problem in a tank.
• Filled with high grade MBD-30 resin in a clear refillable cartridge with a top gasket for a secure fit. Because the body is clear you can watch the colour change progress from top to bottom, and because it refills you can rebed it rather than replacing the whole cartridge.
• Standard 10 inch size, so it drops into any RODI housing built for that. It suits reef and planted aquarium systems, spot free car washing and window cleaning rinses, and laboratory or hydroponic setups where the last few parts per million matter.
• It works on what the membrane leaves behind, not instead of it. DI resin is the polish at the end of a chain, and feeding it unfiltered water exhausts it in days rather than months. Keep the membrane and prefilters current and this cartridge lasts as it should. CFS is an independent brand, a compatible replacement and not an OEM part.
